Vona wasn't designed from a slide deck. It came from a road: walking produce operations of every size, studying how the biggest operators build their systems, and bringing that engineering to the wholesalers who can't afford an engineering team.

We went dock to dock.
And watched how produce actually gets bought, received, picked, delivered, and billed.
Small family operations
Whole businesses run on memory, texts, and paper. It works because everyone knows everything, and it breaks the day they grow.
Mid-size distributors
Spreadsheets bolted to QuickBooks bolted to a pick-sheet printer. Every order re-keyed three times, counts drifting a little further every week.
Operations moving serious volume
Legacy systems from another century: powerful somewhere underneath, fought daily by the people who use them. The same pains at every size, wearing different clothes.
Act II · The bar
How, not who.
We held it to the biggest bar.
The operators moving billions run on serious engineering: real traceability, real accountability, systems their floors can trust. We studied the discipline, not the brand names, and held Vona to it. Three rules, held everywhere in the system.
Audited actions
Every action in the system answers who, what, and when. When something looks wrong, you walk the history instead of arguing about it. Deletes demand a reason and leave a receipt.
Atomic operations
Reality never half-records. A delivery flips the whole chain, order, load, and paperwork, together or not at all. Corrections show what changed and what it was before. No silent edits, anywhere.
Lot-level truth
Every case traces to a lot, every lot to a truck and a dock date. One up, one back, dock to door. The count in the system is the count on the floor, or the system says why not.
We replaced our own 98,000-line first system in live production, without stopping the floor it ran. Not a pilot, not a sandbox: the second generation runs the floor today.

We built it for everyone else.
Most wholesalers can't hire an engineering team, so they've been stuck choosing between legacy systems and spreadsheets. Vona is that gap, closed: enterprise-grade software, shaped to how a produce floor actually works, run in production every day, from a company small enough to know your name.
